A dream team

Although our hearts are in South Africa, our bodies can often be found travelling to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations for our work as international hospitality photographers. This makes the team that helps us run Ubuntu Luxury Villa even more important!

We want our guests to feel effortlessly at home here; fed by nature, nurtured by beauty, and able to tap into the sense of place that we’ve found so remarkable since our very first visit to this part of South Africa. There is no doubt our time in the Hoedspruit area has changed us for the better – we’ve designed everything to try and share that experience with you . Luckily for us, we’ve also found exactly the right people to work with in Hoedspruit, a small town that seems to attract people who share our vision, values and work ethic!

Our hosts

First and foremost, are our hosts Kleintjie & Annalie Viljoen. Both Hoedspruit locals, Kleintjie & Annalie take care of the day-to-day logistics for Ubuntu Luxury Villa. They have an able team of cleaners and maintenance staff that they work with. They’ll also arrange your security access, address any needs that arise during your stay at Ubuntu Luxury Villa, and ensure that the quality of the experience we expect our guests to enjoy is maintained.

Kleintjie is also the builder of Ubuntu Luxury Villa, so he knows the place by heart. Together with owners Dennis & Anouk they designed the villa and Kleintjie’s Company Nadzieja Construction built it.

Selley Safaris

And speaking of knowledge of these classic South African tourist attractions, we’ve also partnered with Selley Safaris. Run by Calvin & Michelle, this service-oriented safari and transfer business is based in Hoedspruit. They organise Kruger day trip safaris, tours of the Panorama Route, transfers to OR Tambo International Airport and more!

While one of the reasons we love the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route is that you can explore them independently, booking a tour with a professional guide can deepen and enrich your experience as they share their intimate local knowledge. We’d recommend making contact with them when planning your stay.
