Supermarkets

Hoedspruit is known as the Safari capital of South Africa. There are many lodges in the surrounding area and of course in The Greater Kruger National Park area who are coming to town to do their shopping. Hoedspruit has two big supermarkets, Pick ‘n Pay (closest to the villa) and Spar, where you can buy your daily groceries. Both supermarkets are open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning as well. The local Le Bamba supermarket is known for its fresh fruit and has late opening hours.

Also a ‘must visit’ is Fruitful Living. This health shop in Hoedspruit is a rare gem for any one interested in holistic living, vegan food, gluten-free, lactose-free and other speciality foods. It also stocks supplements, organic produce, and beauty products.

We love the souvenir shop of William, situated next to Anne’s Cotton Club. He works with many local artists and we have bought many items from him for Ubuntu Luxury Villa;)
